An Easter Acrostic

Tuesday, April 11, 2017

Early morning shed its light

As she rushed to the tomb. She

Saw the grave stone rolled away and

Thought his body, moved. But her

Eyes opened in belief when angels

Relayed truth:

He bore the cross

He conquered death

He arose; His appearance, proof

Mary wept and expressed joy

Our Lord, no grave can hold. A

Risen Savior, Glorious King

New life deployed from old.
